I was so glad that today I would be able to give you guys a full review of the New York steakhouse. It is the place I’ve been looking forward to having a dinning experience.

บรรยากาศบอกได้เลยว่าหรูมาก เข้ามาแล้วเหมือนอีกโลกนึงเลย เมื่อเข้านั่งประจำที่ วันนี้ได้พบกับคุณโรส เป็นผู้จัดการของที่นี่ (เค้าทำงานที่นี่มาประมาณ 14 ปีเลยแหละ) มาแนะนำเมนูต่างๆให้เราฟัง

Once you are stepping the restaurant, you could tell that this place has its charm. I got the feeling that this is the place to dine in style. Not only from the ambience, I also got a lovely service from K.Rose who has dedicated her work to the restaurant for more than 15 years. Thank you for having us!

เนื้อที่นี่ หลักๆจะมาจาก 3 แหล่ง คือ USA, Australia, Japan ซึ่งการันตีได้เลยว่าทุกชิ้นคุณภาพดีที่สุดแน่นอน จะมี QC คอยเช็ค ถ้าคุณภาพไม่ได้ตามต้องการคือไม่ขายเลยนะ

As the name of the restaurant tells its story, let’s get to the important point, the meat. The meat served in the restaurant is all imported from many great sources around the globe whether from USA, Australia or Japan. The quality of the meat used for cooking a steak was impeccable. Thanks to a strict QC that guarantees you the best steak on the table.

มาเริ่มกันเลยดีกว่า Mocktail เย็นๆชื่นใจ

The restaurant opened the dinning scene by serving a glass of mocktail which was very refreshing.

แค่ขนมปังก็น่ากินมากแล้วจริงๆ อาหารจะอร่อยส่วนนึงวัดกันที่ขนมปังได้บ้างเลยนะ ที่นี่ผ่านๆๆ ตัวขนมปังอุ่นมาร้อนๆ เนื้อนุ่ม มี butter garlic butter ให้เลือกทา แนะนำว่าอย่ากินเยอะนะ เดี๋ยวจะตัดกำลัง

That warm bread on the table got my expectation of the food sky high because the bread was so good. In my experience, good bread means good food.

Appetizer เราเลือก Grilled Hokkaido Scallops (920THB) ทำออกมาสุกกำลังดี หวานธรรมชาติ ถือว่าเป็นการเริ่มต้นที่ดีเลยแหละ

I decided to kick start the meal with grilled hokkaido scallops (920THB) . It was cooked perfectly that it still got a natural sweetness and the juiciness from the scallops. This plate was definitely a great kick off.

อันนี้ขอพรีเซนต์มาก มาเหนือความคาดหมาย French Onion Soup (380 THB) อร่อยมากกกกก ต้มมาหวานมากแทบละลายในปาก มีชีสมาเพิ่มความหอม อันนี้ห้ามพลาดด้วยประการทั้งปวง The next starter I had was an ordinary french opinion soup (380 THB).

I firstly didn’t expect much from this but it turned out that the soup was utterly delicious. The chef apparently put his/her magic to this typical dish by incorporating an onion broth and cheese very well together. I have to confess that I had it til the last drop.

ต่อมาคือ Caesar salad (530THB) เป็นเมนู signature ของที่นี่ มีความพิเศษตรงที่ทุกอย่างทำใหม่ทั้งหมด แม้แต่ตัวน้ำสลัด สามารถชิมและปรับรสชาติตามใจชอบเราได้เลย จะเสิร์ฟต่อคนต่อจาน ทุกคนได้รสชาติที่ตัวเองชอบแน่นอน

Alongside with the soup, caesar salad is the one you don’t wanna miss. The specialty of the dish here is that all the ingredients used in the salad are freshly made. You are allowed to adjust the taste that goes well with your tastebuds.

I find this idea of serving the food matching to our own preferences very interesting. Normally, for the western cuisine, we have to respect the chef by cherishing the food in front of us. Only salt and pepper are approved to use on the dish. So this was kind of the east meets west dish which was absolutely delightful.

และแล้วเวลาที่เรารอคอยก็มาถึง Tomahawk มาแล้ววววววว ขนาด 1 กิโลกรัม (4,300THB) โดยเนื้อชนิดนี้จะเป็นเนื้อพันธุ์แท้ (รุ่นที่ 4) ของเนื้อลูกครึ่งระหว่าง Angus และ Wagyu จะมีความพิเศษตรงที่ได้ marbling จากเนื้อ wagyu และได้รสชาติแท้ๆของเนื้อ black angus

After I almost finished those starters, well…three starters, a colossal tomohawk steak (4,300THB), one kilogram in weight, was resting there ready for us to jump in. The meat looked fabulous as the restaurant particularly uses marbled meat from a hybrid Black Angus and a Wagyu to balance the fat and the lean.

เนื้อมาในระดับ Medium rare มีความ juicy สูงมาก พนักงานมาหั่นเป็นชิ้นๆที่โต๊ะเราเลย เรียกน้ำย่อยได้ดีมาก เนื้อไม่แข็งและเหนียวเลย

I preferred to have a medium rare doneness to this exquisite meat because I wanted to keep the juiciness of the meat as much as possible. What impressed me the most is how they have their eyes on every detail. Remember we are now in a divine restaurant, cutting that gigantic chunk of meat with a tiny knife would probably transform us to a butcher. So they sliced the steak into small bites ready for you to dine on. What an elegant meal!

เสิร์ฟมาพร้อมกับซอส 4 สไตล์ คือ blue cheese sauce ซอสมีกลิ่นหอมของชีสและเนย รสค่อนไปทางพาเมซานชีส black green pepper sauce รสชาติมีความเผ็ดพริกไทยเล็กน้อย หอมกลมกล่อม BBQ sauce รสชาติเข้มข้นดี Red wine sauce มีกลิ่นหอมของไวน์แดงที่พอดี รสชาติเปรี้ยวอมเค็ม มีจิ้มแจ๋วแถมมาให้เราด้วย อันนี้แซ่บเวอร์แก้เลี่ยนได้ดีมาก 555

There were four sauces which you could pair up with your steak; blue cheese sauce, black green pepper sauce, BBQ sauce and red wine sauce. The blue cheese sauce compliments the steak by giving it a great sense of good quality cheese while the peppery taste blended in well with the marbling. If you are looking for refreshing sauce, the red wine would definitely to go for.

The sour taste it gives to your mouth stimulates the appetite. The big surprise to me was that they also have NUM JIM JAEW serving alongside with the steak. I have to admit that this is one of a few time I see a fancy steakhouse like this has Thai spicy sauce! Well done guys!

Side orders มี Baked Cauliflower Cheese Baked Potato Mesclun Salad Seasonal Steak Fries

Apart from sauces, there are also several side dishes for you to choose. They have baked cauliflower and mesclun salad for those who prefer some fibres and two carb-based sides including seasonal fries and cheese baked potato for carb lovers.

และ ที่อยากนำเสนอไม่แพ้ Tomahawk เลยก็คือ Steak Diane (2,480THB) ซึ่งเป็นเมนูใหม่ของทางร้าน เนื้อ US prime filet mignon 8 oz เนื้อนุ่มมากแบบละลายในปากเลยก็ว่าได้ เหมาะสำหรับคนชอบนุ่มๆ เพราะ Tomahawk อาจจะมีบางส่วนที่เป็น tendon ligament ปนอยู่ด้วย แต่ชินนี้เคี้ยวง่ายกลืนง่าย ชอบมากๆๆๆๆๆ

Another great dish I would recommend you have is Steak Diane which is a new dish on the menu. An 8 Oz US prime fillet mignon was so tender. I think it would fit perfectly to those who love steak but too lazy to chew. They do exist. Trust me I was once that person Lol.

ปิดท้ายด้วยของหวาน NY Steakhouse Key Lime pie (280THB) รสชาติดี แก้เลี่ยนได้ดีมาก

If you think that those food I had had so far could stop me for having more, you are going wrong guys. The final stop of the night were two gorgeous sweets; NY steakhouse Key Lime Pie (280 BAHT)

และ Peanut Chocolate Crunch (270THB) and Peanut Chocolate Crunch (270 BAHT).

The restaurant never failed to impress me on every dishes. Once again, these two desserts were true indulgence.

สรุปเป็นอีกหนึ่งมื้อที่ประทับใจมากๆ คิดว่าถ้ามีโอกาสพิเศษคงได้แวะกลับมาอีกแน่นอน แม้ราคาจะค่อนข้างสูง แต่สิ่งที่ได้รับ ทั้งคุณภาพ การบริการที่เลิศ ก็ควรค่าแก่การมาลองสักครั้งนะ

All in all, to me the dinning experience I had at New York steakhouse is one of a kind. It’s worth every penny. The food was absolutely impeccable. The service was on point. The ambience was marvelous. Without a doubt, to us the foodies, this one deserves to be on our must-dine list!
